Question to Radhanath Swami: If god is infinite and beyond our comprehension then how is it possible for us, limited beings, to understand him?
Radhanath Swami Answers: By material logic it is not possible for us to understand the unlimited God. It is like an attempt by a small clay vessel to hold the entire water of an ocean. However, by logic if we believe that the unlimited God doesn’t have the power to reveal himself to the limited human being, we are laying a limitation on the unlimited God. Because the Lord is unlimited, he can do anything.
With our intelligence, our austerities, or by studying various scriptures, it is not really possible to understand who Krishna is. But if we surrender to be the devotees of Krishna, and chant the holy names of the Lord with humility and devotion, then by his unlimited power he will reveal himself to us. He will reveal to us his power, his glory and his grace. Thus, the process of bhakti is the supreme process for the realization of God. Krishna assures this in Bhagvad Gita-
“Aham sarvasya prabhavo,mattah sarvam pravartate, iti matva bhajantymam ,budha bhava samanvitahah .”

Without association of devotees of the Lord it is not possible to understand God and His qualities.By our limited material knowledge we can not see the God or understand anything about Him.We have to qualify ourselves under bonafide spiritual guidance.

On another similar occasion Maharaj has told that “You can use your logic to understand that you can’t understand krishna by your logic”. If krishna is limited by logic, then your logic is superior to krishna which is not the truth. so by this wonderful article it is clear that how just by your high material education you can’t catch krishna.
