Question to Radhanath Swami: Religion has the power to divide. The riots in Mumbai, Gujarat and Ayodhya are created by religion. Do you see a divide?
Radhanath Swami Answers: You have to educate people about religion. Religion is about love and compassion and seeing all as one. The Bible says understanding the letter of the laws of religion is less important than understanding the spirit. The Gita says the person who is enlightened sees every living being with equal vision—black or white, male or female, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh or Jew, East or West, rich or poor, a dog, a cat or a cow. These are all external things.
The atma is in everyone. When you pick the hot coals of revenge and hatred, you will get burned too. Booker T Washington was an emancipated slave. He said
“I will allow no man to degrade my soul by causing me to hate them.”
The Lord is in everyone. The spiritual spark is within everyone. Fighting and hating is contrary to the religion we follow.

The true religion if followed under bonafied guidance then there is no question of violence or hatred against any other living entity.The violence is caused among inter faith because misinformation of religious philosophy.Radhanath Swami herein explain us very nice way to overcome such a weakness of the heart created by misinformation.
To the extent your heart is pure, to that extent you will not have the propensity to harm anyone.
Religion is not made for voilence but there are people in society who use religion for voilence we should not encourage them

True religion teach to love not to fight. True religion teach to share not to take away. Real religion teach us to help others not to hate others..H H Radhanath Swami Maharaj has given perfect explanation. We need to teach common people to love, share and help each other rather than just to fight in name of religion.

Saints like Srila Prabhupada & his many wonderful disciples (like Radhanath Swami and many more) truly follow the principles of Bhagavad Gita by seeing all living entities as equal and children of Krishna. So there’s no question of hating them be they of any religion or caste or country or species.
